Jubii LLC – PRIVACY POLICY

Revised February 19, 2007

Jubii LLC (“Jubii” or “we”) takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

By using our Web site or our other services, you agree to this privacy policy.

This policy covers how Jubii treats personal information that Jubii collects and receives through its web sites and services. In this context “personal information” means any data that enables us to identify you (e.g. your name, address, telephone number) and any data that is connected with such data.

Please note that some Jubii services may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with another company. If you register for or use such service, the other company may also receive personal information collected in conjunction with the co-branded service. Other partners (i.e. advertising clients advertising on Jubii and other internet sites and services accessible via www.jubii.com) may also collect data about you. These companies have their own data protection guidelines, which are independent of this statement.

1.         Collection of personal Information

The treatment of data very much depends on the way you are using Jubii’s websites and services.

When you visit the website www.jubii.com, whether you have logged in to one of the Jubii services or not, Jubii collects the following information in its server logs:

technical details of your computer system (e.g. type and version of your browser, operating system, display resolution, javascript-settings.)

referrer URL (the address of the site that has been accessed before)

           URLs visited at www.jubii.com

hostname of your computer (IP address)

           time and date of access

If a Jubii service requires registration, you may be asked to submit personal information such as your name, your date of birth, your gender and your Email-address. Jubii may also collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age and gender. Jubii also collects you IP-address during registration. If you choose to sign up for a paid subscription service or make a purchase, Jubii will ask for additional information, such as your billing address or credit card number which may be checked and shared with credit rating agencies.

You may also choose to submit additional information, e.g. when you enter promotions or sweepstakes.

Further, Jubii collects certain data after you have logged in to a Jubii service, such as your interactions with persons who send you e-mails (the text of e-mails will not be processed).

Personal information collected through individual Jubii services may be combined and we may use services from companies who enable us to derive a rough geographic area based on your IP address in order to customize certain services or target advertising.

Jubii’s websites and services do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. When a visitor indicates an age under 13, the registration process for a Jubii service cannot be completed, and no personally identifying information is collected in conjunction with that attempted submission.

2.         Use of personal Information

In the majority of cases, Jubii uses your personal information in order to deliver the services or carry out the transactions you have requested (e.g. sorting incoming e-mails based on your previous interactions with the sender). The collected information also enables us to improve our web site and services in line with our users' needs and to display content and targeted advertising that is customized to your interests and preferences.

Jubii reserves the right to send you certain communications relating to the Jubii service, such as service notices, billing reminders and administrative messages, as well as (e-mail-) newsletters that may contain advertising for products and services of Jubii. Such newsletters are considered part of your Jubii account. You may only opt out of receiving them by terminating your subscription with Jubii. This will also be outlined in specific instructions in the e-mails you receive.

Jubii occasionally employs third parties to provide services on its behalf, such as handling the bandwidth and storage necessary to perform the Jubii services, or performing statistical analysis. The access of such parties to your personal information will be limited to the data they need in order to deliver the service.

Jubii may share information in order to prevent, investigate or take action regarding suspected fraud and other illegal activities as well as situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person and violations of Jubii's terms of use. We may access and/or disclose your personal information if we in our sole discretions deem this to be necessary to: (a) comply with applicable laws and (b) respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend ourselves against legal claims.

Without limitation to the foregoing, Jubii does not without your permission rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested.

Your personal information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Jubii or its affiliates maintain facilities. By using a Jubii service, you declare your consent to any such transfer of information.

3.         Choice – Editing and Deletion of personal Information

If you have registered to use a Jubii service, you will choose a member name and a password.  After having logged in to a Jubii service you can edit the information you have submitted during registration or at a later date, and you can terminate your Jubii account and/or individual Jubii services.

With regard to payable services, Jubii reserves the right to keep your personal information after termination, e.g. until outstanding payments have been made.

4.         Security

Jubii works with secure data networks protected by both industry-standard firewalls and by passwords. We use security measures in order to guarantee that your details are protected against loss, disclosure or misuse. In sensitive areas, such as the transfer of credit card information, Jubii is careful to offer a high security standard to protect your details, e.g. by protecting it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. We limit access to personal information to our and our affiliates’ employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide our products and services to you.

If a member-name and password is used to help to protect your account from unauthorized access, you must keep such login data confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone.

5.         Changes to this Privacy Policy

We will occasionally update this privacy policy to reflect user feedback and changes in our services. We encourage you to review this policy at regular intervals in order to be informed of how we are handling your information. When we change this policy we will revise the “Effective Date” field at the top of this document.
